ENTRY FEE: $30.00 LATE FEE: $50.00
- Grand and Reserve shop project winners, regardless of going into the auction or not will be awarded the plaque.
- Grand and Reserve Champions will be recognized at the auction
- Ribbons will be awarded 1-3 places in each class
- Top 5 projects in sale division will sell in the junior auction sale
- A sweepstakes prize will be awarded to the FFA Chapter or 4-H Club that accumulates the most points. *
SCORES – Projects will be scored as follows:
- A: Workmanship: 30 points
- Design and material used (including practicality): 25 points
- Degree of difficulty: 10 points
- Knowledge of project: 25 points
- Documentation: 10 points
- Bill of Sale with materials list
- Plans for Project
- Pictures of building process
Documentation must have the following items at minimum
No documentation will result in a red ribbon

PURPOSE: To provide an opportunity for Hunt County 4-H and FFA members to display the projects constructed or restored in agricultural mechanic’s laboratories, to promote the development of skills in agricultural mechanics through competition, to recognize individual and group accomplishments in the area of agricultural mechanics, and provide an opportunity for the public to develop an appreciation of this important phase of 4-H and FFA youth programs.
RULES:

- Entries in the shop project division are limited to Hunt County 4-H and FFA members.
- Documentation of the project is required
- Exhibitors must be present at the time of judging.
- Build date will be from May 1, 2022 until April 26, 2023
- Projects exhibited must have been constructed or restored by 4-H or FFA members.
- All projects must be painted or properly treated and must be clean and in a presentable condition even though they may have been used.
- Projects may have been individually or group constructed and may be individually or group owned.
- At any time if the judge or the superintendent feels that a project was entered in the wrong class the project can be moved to the appropriate class.
- 1st place in class = 5 points
- 2nd place in class = 3 points
- 3rd place in class = 1 points
- Grand Champion within division = 5 points
- Reserve Champion within division = 3 points
Showmanship:
Jr Showmanship 3rd – 8th Grade
Senior Showmanship 9th – 12th Grade
