The Fair Boss

'The Fair Boss' has been the mascot of the Hunt County Fair & Livestock Show for over 40 years. The Fair Boss was purchased and donated by Harold Payne a few years after the fair began in 1967. At the time, Hereford cattle like The Fair Boss were the predominate cattle in the South and Southwest. Every year Fair Boss is posted up by the front entrance of the fair, greeting all those that come to enjoy this event in Hunt County. Come take a picture with The Fair Boss this year at the fair!
